Job summary

Inspira Health is seeking a Wound and Ostomy Specialist - Educator to lead wound/ostomy care education and practice across patient care teams. You will assess needs, develop educational plans, and champion evidence-based protocols with interdisciplinary colleagues.

The role requires NJ RN licensure, 3+ years in wound/ostomy nursing, and certification within 1 year. ACLS preferred; BLS required; strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• Master's degree preferred or progress toward degree.
• NJ or compact-state RN license required.
• Minimum of three years clinical nurse experience in wound/ostomy care.
• National certification in wound/ostomy within 1 year of hire.
• ACLS preferred; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert wound and ostomy care education to staff and patients.
• Design, deliver, and evaluate outcomes linked to care quality.
• Supervise and educate nursing staff; serve as preceptor when needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote evidence-based practice.
• Monitor and improve quality data and staff performance in line with organizational goals.
