Job summary

Renown Health is seeking an Advanced Wound Care Specialist‑RN to lead wound/ostomy care for inpatients and outpatients. You will educate patients, coordinate care with providers, and support staff development in wound/ostomy practices.

Responsibilities include debridement, ostomy care, infection prevention, and implementing best practices. Requires BSN within 3 years, two years of nursing experience, and Nevada RN licensure with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must have strong wound/ostomy knowledge and clinical nursing experience.
• Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) required within 3 years of hire.
• Two years of general nursing experience and clinical nursing experience required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Nevada RN license; BLS certification at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate wound/ostomy/incontinence care across patient settings.
• Maintain interdisciplinary communication with health professionals involved in care.
• Provide in-services to promote wound/ostomy care standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge in wound care modalities and ostomy management.
• Educate patients and families on wound care best practices and infection prevention.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
