Job summary

Qualifications

• RN with a Bachelor prepared nursing degree and Maryland license.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Active wound care certification preferred (CWOCN/CWS/WCC) or completion within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of wound care and support staff in acute and chronic wound management.
• Educate patients on wound care, ostomy, infection prevention, and continence management.
• Educate staff on evidence-based tools and best clinical practices.
• Document comprehensive EMR notes for WOC consults and follow-up visits.
• Collaborate with surgeons, infection prevention, podiatrists and the interdisciplinary team.
• Perform focused assessments to identify risks and plan care for wound/ostomy/continence issues.
• Support department operations and participate in quality initiatives.
