Job summary

Aurora Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant for wound care clinic support. This full-time role offers 32 hours per week, four 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with no holidays or weekends. You will assist RNs with daily patient care, document vital signs, and help with admissions, transfers, and discharges.

Required are a GED/HSE or high school diploma, Basic computer skills, and strong communication abilities. BLS may be needed within 45 days.

Qualifications

• GED or HS diploma required or equivalent.
• Basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care: bathing, nutrition, hygiene, mobility.
• Record vital signs, intake/output, weights in EMR as directed.
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges with proper setup.
• Respond to call lights promptly and maintain patient comfort.
• Assist with skin care, positioning, and use of assistive devices.
• Coordinate tests and treatments with other departments.
