Job summary

SanStone Health & Rehabilitation's The Lodge at Sandhills Carolina in Pinehurst, NC is seeking a Wound Care/Treatment Nurse (RN or LPN). Join a modern facility focused on compassionate care and hospitality.

Responsibilities include wound care procedures, documentation, patient education, and weekly collaboration with the wound care physician. Weekend rotation is required; comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina LPN or RN license.
• Wound care experience preferred.
• Previous long-term care experience preferred.
• Willingness to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for wound care using safety and clinical protocols.
• Maintain complete and accurate patient records/charts as they pertain to treatment documentation.
• Reinforce patient education as it relates to wound healing procedures.
• Perform daily wound healing procedures as required.
• Perform duties and responsibilities as directed by supervisor/medical director.
• Participate in quality improvement program.
• Participate in safety program.
• Maintain competencies, continuing education, and certifications as appropriate.
• Day-to-day maintenance of wound care equipment.
• Work closely with wound care doctor weekly.
