Job summary

The Springs in Prescott, AR is seeking a compassionate LPN or RN Treatment Nurse to join our full-time team. You will monitor resident conditions, perform skin assessments, and administer treatments under physician orders in a supportive facility environment.

Responsibilities of the Treatment Nurse include:

• Observing, assessing, and documenting resident conditions and changes
• Performing skin assessments in accordance with facility procedures
• Implementing interventions to prevent pressure ulcers and educating staff, residents, and families on their importance
• Administering treatments and medications as per physicians' orders and clinical guidelines
• Managing skin tears, surgical wounds, and other conditions
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans
• Ensuring accurate and timely documentation
• Assisting with infection control surveillance and adherence to principles
• Monitoring subordinate staff activities and assisting in incident investigations
• Identifying and securing necessary equipment and supplies for wound care
