Job summary

Mission Regional Medical Center in Mission, TX is seeking a Per Diem Medical Assistant or similar to support the wound care clinic. You will participate in delivering outpatient wound care, change dressings, and maintain sterile treatment rooms.

The role requires completion of MA/NA/ER Tech program and a current BLS card. Day shifts with an opportunity to contribute to patient care while gaining hands-on experience in a busy outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Previous wound care center or outpatient clinic experience preferred.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant, Nurse Assistant or ER Tech program required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

• Assist in the delivery of out-patient wound care in a clinical setting. Change wound dressings; prepare wound treatment rooms. Accurately measure and record wound size in patient record. Apply wound dressings as prescribed by the physician and assist with front office duties.

• Previous experience in a wound care center and/or outpatient clinic preferred.
