Job summary

Lake Huron Medical Center is seeking a Per Diem Medical Assistant or ER Technician to assist in outpatient wound care. You will change dressings, prepare treatment rooms, measure wound size, apply dressings, and support front office duties.

Qualifications include prior wound care center or outpatient clinic experience preferred, completion of a Medical Assistant, Nurse Assistant, or ER Tech program, and current Basic Life Support (BLS). Days shift. Equal opportunity employer.

Assist in the delivery of out-patient wound care in a clinical setting. Change wound dressings; prepare wound treatment rooms. Accurately measure and record wound size in patient record. Apply wound dressings as prescribed by the physician and assist with front office duties.

• Completion of a Medical Assistant, Nurse Assistant or ER Tech, or similar program required.
• Current Basic Life Support Card.
