Job summary

RestorixHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient care for wound care patients. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, timely response to patient condition changes, and collaboration with the care team.

Responsibilities include prioritizing actions, implementing physician orders, and educating patients and families on wound care. Training is provided to support success in this role.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing; BSN preferred for Magnet Hospitals.
• Valid Registered Nursing license required.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Experience with wound care patients; will train.
• Experience with billing and coding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on scientific principles/nursing theory and evidence-based practice
• Recognize change in the patient’s condition and intervene appropriately
• Prioritize nursing actions including reflecting patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes
• Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames
• Educate and counsel patients and their families on wound care processes and issues
