Job summary

Healogics, the leading provider of advanced wound care services in the United States, seeks an RN for the Wound Care Center. You will manage patient intake and discharge, support vein clinic activities, and coordinate care with physicians to optimize outcomes.

The role includes potential case management duties, documentation, and participation in quality initiatives. A BSN and wound care certification are preferred. This on-site position offers growth and teamwork within a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Current RN license in the state of practice - to be maintained throughout the duration of employment in the position
• BSN preferred
• Wound care certification preferred
• Wound care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care to Wound Care Center patients and handles intake and discharge processes as assigned and according to hospital/nursing standards
• Assist in vein clinic as assigned after Healogics Vein Clinic training
• May serve as Case Manager to a group of patients: conduct initial nursing assessment, communicate findings with physician, assess wound stage, document care plans, monitor outcomes
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and educate patients/caregivers
• Perform HBO-related duties after Healogics hyperbaric training
• May perform hyperbaric safety director duties after training
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers and program director
• May act as Documentation Assistant as per policy
• Perform other duties as required
