Job summary

KPC Promise Hospital of SALT LAKE in Murray, UT is seeking an RN for wound care on a PRN basis. The Wound Care Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care and leads care for draining wounds, fistulas, ulcers, skin breakdown and incontinence.

This role requires an accredited nursing degree, active state license, and preferred wound-care certification. Strong English communication and basic computer skills are essential; you'll collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize discharge

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing license and license renewal per state standards.
• Wound care certification preferred.
• Must read, write, and speak English with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care for wounds.
• Coordinate care for draining wounds, fistulas, pressure ulcers, skin breakdown and incontinence.
• Assimilate and report performance data and productivity statistics for quality management.
• Coordinate communication with the interdisciplinary team on wound status and discharge barriers.
