Job summary

American Advanced Management, Inc. is seeking a Wound Care Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care for draining wounds, fistulas, pressure ulcers, skin breakdown and incontinence while coordinating with the interdisciplinary team in Murray, Utah.

This per diem role requires flexible availability and strong clinical judgment. Responsibilities include documenting care, reporting performance data for quality management, and communicating barriers to discharge.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Must hold a current RN license and maintain renewal with the State Board of Nursing.
• Certification in wound care is preferred.
• Certification in sharp debridement procedures is preferred.
• Must read, write, and speak English with good verbal and written communication.
• Basic computer skills required.

Duties also include the assimilation and reporting of performance data and productivity statistics for quality management. The Wound Care Nurse will coordinate communication with the interdisciplinary team on patient wound status and barriers to discharge.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Must hold a current RN state license and must maintain license renewal in accordance with the standards of the State Board of Nursing
• Certification in wound care preferred
• Certification in sharp debridement procedures preferred
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English, as well as possess good verbal and written communications skills
