ChristianaCare is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse for the Outpatient Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine Center at the Cecil Campus. You will work with physicians and the wound care team to provide high-quality care for patients with acute and chronic wounds in a compassionate, evidence-based setting.

This role offers a daytime, part-time schedule (Mon–Fri) with no weekends or on-call requirements, along with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to develop specialized wound care

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• BSN degree required.
• Minimum of two years of acute care nursing experience.
• Wound care experience preferred.
• Flexibility to provide occasional coverage at other ChristianaCare Wound Care locations after orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in ambulatory wound care setting through assessments and wound evaluation.
• Demonstrate knowledge of wound etiologies and evidence-based wound care practices.
• Perform ordered treatments and procedures (vital signs, glucose monitoring, ABIs, wound assessments, medications, phlebotomy).
• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Obtain and interpret patient and wound histories; educate patients to support wound management.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
