Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Part-Time Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine Center at the Cecil Campus. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care for patients with acute and chronic wounds.

This role offers a predictable daytime schedule on weekdays with no weekends or holidays, allowing work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Minimum of two years of acute care nursing experience.
• Wound care experience preferred.
• Ambulatory or outpatient nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in ambulatory wound care with assessments and wound evaluation.
• Perform treatments and procedures including: vital signs, glucose monitoring, ABIs, wound measurements, medication administration, venipuncture.
• Collaborate with providers to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
• Obtain and interpret patient and wound histories; educate patients on wound management.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
