Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the wound care team. The role involves comprehensive assessment, wound management and case coordination for inpatient and outpatient cases.

Schedule: Part-time, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8am–4pm. You will educate patients and families, document care, and collaborate with physicians, therapists and nurses to maintain skin integrity and prevent complications.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Delaware.
• ASN required, BSN preferred, from an accredited school of nursing.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in wound care.
• Wound care certification preferred; obtainable within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients with wounds and extensive case management.
• Educate patients and families about chronic wounds.
• Lead wound care planning and follow-up across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nurses to coordinate care.
• Document exams, plans of care, and patient outcomes.
