Job summary

MercyOne Genesis Davenport Wound Care Clinic seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in outpatient settings. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, coordinating with physicians and the care team to ensure safe, evidence-based treatment and patient education.

This role emphasizes collaboration, documentation in EMR, and adherence to Trinity Health mission and standards. The position offers full-time hours, 7 or 8:00a-5:00p shifts, and no weekend or holiday

Qualifications

• Active Iowa RN license required.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Proof of Mandatory Reporter abuse training within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient in Windows and MS Office.
• Compact State License acceptable where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in outpatient settings using nursing processes.
• Administer medications and treatments safely via multiple routes and document accordingly.
• Coordinate care with physicians, staff, patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams."
• Educate patients, families, and clinical staff on treatments, medications, test preparation, discharge, and health maintenance.
• Maintains and documents EMR records with accuracy.
