Job summary

MercyOne Genesis Medical Group in Iowa seeks a registered nurse to provide outpatient patient care, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, evidence-based nursing services and patient education. You will support care planning, documentation, and communication across teams in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires an Iowa RN license, BLS, and strong computer skills. Work 32 hours, 8:00a–5:00p, with no weekends or holidays, under Trinity Health values.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa; compact licensure may be required where applicable.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient with basic computer skills (Windows, MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient nursing care and coordinate with other clinical staff.
• Administer medications and treatments safely via multiple routes.
• Educate patients and families and document education.
• Maintain EMR documentation and ensure accuracy of vitals, labs, and histories.
