Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Wound Care RN to join our team in Florida. You will provide direct and indirect patient care in inpatient and ambulatory settings, applying nursing processes to patients with wound and ostomy needs.

Responsibilities include assessments, VAC dressing changes, care plan implementation, and assisting in pressure ulcer management. Florida RN licensure and BLS are required; CWOCN/CWON certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires Florida RN licensure (or multistate license) with relocation 60 days to obtain Florida license for compact license holders.
• Minimum 1 year of Wound, Ostomy & Continence care experience.
• BLS certification required; CWOCN/CWON certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in inpatient and ambulatory care areas.
• Perform assessments, interventions, and evaluations for wound/ostomy patients.
• Change VAC dressings and implement care plans.
• Assist in pressure ulcer management and wound care quality initiatives.
• Support Wound & Ostomy CNSs in education and QA activities.
