Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed to practice nursing in Florida; BLS from American Heart Association; Wound Care certification within 1 year of hire.
• 2-5 years Med-surg or Intensive Care experience.
• Wound and Ostomy Nursing preferred.
• New hires must obtain BSN within three years of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate wound and ostomy care for inpatients.
• Provide direct patient care and education.
• Serve as resource and educator to staff and physicians.
• Collaborate with the treatment team and manage assigned patients.
