Job summary

Fundamental is seeking a Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN/LVN to assess, treat, and develop care plans for patients with complex wounds in our Irving, Texas facility.

You will collaborate with nursing staff, provide wound care education, document outcomes, and participate in in-service programs to maintain high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN or LPN/LVN license in good standing with the state.
• 1–2 years wound care experience required.
• Wound Care Certification (WOCN) preferred.
• 1+ years of long term care experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation and direct assistance in managing patients with altered skin integrity (pressure necrosis, wounds, fistulas, etc).
• Offer in-service programs to assist nursing, rehabilitation and medical staff to maintain wound care knowledge and competence.
• Collect, analyze and document information and statistics related to wounds and perform clinical evaluations for potential wound admissions.

Posted Salary Range

USD $33.00 - USD $35.00 /Hr.

Wage Commensuration

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
