Job summary

Avantara is seeking a Wound Care Nurse RN to join our facility. The role focuses on providing high-quality wound care to Guests, obtaining treatment orders from physicians, and guiding staff while ensuring compliance with nursing policies.

The RN will supervise CNAs, coordinate with physicians, and participate in QAPI initiatives to improve patient care and safety within a 24/7 health care environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Valid, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Consult with nursing team on assessment evaluations and plan skin care treatment.
• Provide wound care and supervise CNAs and staff.
• Administer medications within RN scope and maintain narcotics logs.
