Avardis Health in the United States is seeking a qualified Wound Care Nurse RN to join our team at Pine View Health and Rehabilitation Center. You will provide wound management and direct patient care to residents, ensuring comfort and optimal healing.

The role involves collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, development of individualized treatment plans, and ongoing educational leadership to improve wound care practices within the facility.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN licensure in the state of employment.
• Current Wound Care Certification and CPR certification.
• Minimum 1 year wound care experience (2 years preferred).

Responsibilities

• Liaison between the wound specialist physician and nursing staff for care coordination.
• Develop and monitor wound care program objectives aligned with regulations.
• Provide educational programming to enhance wound care knowledge.
• Assist in implementing and ensuring compliance with wound care policies.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support wound healing.
• Assess, treat, and monitor residents' wounds as ordered by the physician.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to promote healing.
• Maintain communication with physicians for comprehensive care updates.
• Support regulatory surveys and inspections under supervision.
• Pursue continuous improvements to wound care systems and outcomes.
