Job summary

Aviata at Sand Key is seeking a Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our patient- and family-focused community in Clearwater, FL. The role includes liaising between wound specialists and nursing staff, participating in the wound care program, and providing direct resident care to promote healing.

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing program with current Wound Care and CPR certifications. One year of wound care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must possess current Wound Care and CPR certifications.
• Minimum of one (1) year of Wound Care experience; two years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between Wound Specialist Physician and nursing staff.
• Participate in development and achievement of Wound Care Program objectives.
• Provide resident care in wound assessment, treatment and follow-up as ordered by physician.
• Implement individualized treatment plans for assigned residents.
• Maintain communication with physicians and assist regulatory surveys.
