Job summary

Aviata Health Group in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our patient- and family-centered team. You will act as liaison between the Wound Specialist Physician and nursing staff, develop care plans, and advance our wound care program through education and collaboration.

The ideal candidate holds Florida RN or LPN licensure, Wound Care and CPR certifications, and 1+ year of wound care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must possess current Wound Care and CPR certifications.
• Minimum of one (1) year of Wound Care experience; two years preferred.
• Current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in state of practice.
• Qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between the Wound Specialist Physician and nursing staff.
• Participate in development and achievement of Wound Care Program objectives.
• Staff development functions/responsibilities.
• Provide educational programming.
• Assist in policy, procedure, and standard of practice compliance.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team to promote wound healing.
• Provide direct resident care in assessment, treatment, and follow-up for wound management.
• Assist in individualized treatment plans for each resident.
