Job summary

HCA Healthcare Colleton Hospital seeks a compassionate Wound Care Registered Nurse to provide wound care and treatments for adults in a patient-centered model. You will perform clinical assessments, manage care autonomously, and educate patients and families during their stay.

Role requires RN licensure, with WCC or CWS certification to be obtained within 6 months. BCLS within 30 days is required. 2 years of experience preferred in wound care or related fields.

Qualifications

• RN license required at start date.
• WCC or CWS certification must be obtained within 6 months.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide burn and wound care for patients.
• Assess situations and manage treatment autonomously.
• Advocate for patient safety and communicate with physicians and staff.
• Provide general nursing care and document key clinical information.
• Ensure effective use of time, supplies, and equipment.
• Serve as a resource for new employees.
• Educate patients and families about medications, procedures, and treatments.
