Qualifications

• Must hold current RN licensure in the state of Ohio.
• Minimum 2 years of floor nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to assess data reflective of patient status across age groups.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and communicate clinical information to wound center team.
• Document clinical data in an orderly manner and coordinate with physicians.
• Assess wounds, perform hyperbaric treatments, and monitor during therapy.
• Ensure adherence to clinical pathways and notify physicians of missing components.
• Collaborate with panel physicians to develop and implement care plans and teaching.
• Prioritize outcomes per patient and center protocols.
• Assist with wound care and HBO protocol implementation.
• Reassess and reevaluate plan until desired outcomes are achieved.
• Participate in patient reviews to ensure orders are activated.
• Coordinate visits, pre-procedure workups and patient education on HBO benefits/risks.
• Prepare for clinic updates to physicians and complete precertification tasks and charges.
• Triage wound center calls and assist with scheduling.
