Job summary

Blanchard Valley Health System is seeking a Staff RN for the Wound Center. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, including administration of hyperbaric oxygen therapy and diagnostic testing ordered by the hyperbaric physician.

You will work with panel physicians to develop and implement wound treatment plans, participate in performance improvement activities, and ensure compliance with nursing standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum of 2 years of floor nursing experience.
• Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to provide age-appropriate care reflecting life-span growth and development principles.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and communicate clinical information to the wound center team.
• Document clinical data and coordinate with physicians and staff.
• Photograph, assess, and measure wounds; perform hyperbaric treatments and monitor patients.
• Collaborate with panel physicians to develop care plans and teaching plans.
• Prioritize outcomes and revise care plans with the team as needed.
• Coordinate pre-procedure workups and patient education for HBO therapy.
