Healogics, LLC. in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient care in the Wound Care Center, manage patient intake and discharge, and potentially serve as Case Manager for a defined patient group.

The role includes HBO-related duties after training and collaboration with the Program Director and Medical Director. The position requires RN licensure in the practice state, BLS competency, and strong communication skills; BSN and wound care certification/experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Current RN license in the state of practice – to be maintained throughout the duration of employment in the position
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Medical Surgical, Home Health or Wound Care Certification preferred
• Wound care experience preferred

Responsabilités

• Provides patient care to Wound Care Center patients and handles patient intake and discharge processes as assigned and according to the hospital and nursing standards
• Assist in vein clinic as assigned after Healogics Vein Clinic training completed
• May also serve as Case Manager to a group of patients as assigned.
• This entails: Performing the initial nursing assessment, communicating findings with the physician, assessing wound stage, documenting care plans, evaluating status, and identifying care needs
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives, provides education to patient/caregiver, and serves as patient advocate in care delivery and coordination
