Healogics, LLC. is seeking an RN to join our Wound Care Center team in New Jersey. The role involves patient care, intake and discharge processing, and potential Case Manager responsibilities within the clinic setting.

You will perform nursing assessments, document plans, and collaborate with physicians to achieve patient outcomes. HBO-related duties may be assigned after training, with occasional safety leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated competency in BLS
• Demonstrated organization, prioritization and time-management skills
• Basic knowledge of regulatory/accrediting requirements for healthcare organizations.
• Strong interpersonal, listening, as well as oral and written communication skills
• Customer service skills and follow-up skills
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
• Teaching skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to work on multiple tasks at the same time
• Ability to stay calm and work with others in a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
• Working knowledge of computerized nursing systems

Responsabilités

• Provides patient care to Wound Care Center patients and handles patient intake and discharge processes
• Assist in vein clinic as assigned after Healogics Vein Clinic training completed
• May also serve as Case Manager to a group of patients
• Performing the initial nursing assessment, communicating findings with the assigned physician, assessing the wound stage and measurements, documenting care plans, evaluating patient status, and identifying needs
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives, provides education to the patient or caregiver, and serves as a patient advocate
• Performs HBO related duties as assigned after training
• May perform hyperbaric safety director duties after training
• Collaborates with other healthcare providers and directors regarding clinic needs
• May function as a Documentation Assistant (scribe)
• Performs other duties as required.
