Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's St. Mary-Corwin in Pueblo, CO is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate care and collaborate with the healthcare team to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and families.

You will promote patient safety through the nursing process, document care, and educate patients in a mission-driven environment that values relationship-based care.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required.
• RN License in state of employment or eligible for endorsement.
• Physical requirements: medium work, lift up to 50 lbs occasionally; up to 20 lbs frequently; up to 10 lbs constantly.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs and intervene to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Develop and implement patient plan of care and monitor outcomes with interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in interventions including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient charts; document status, interventions, and outcomes; use IT to communicate and support decisions.
• Promote and advocate for patient health and safety and rights.
• Provide patient/family education based on learning readiness and needs.
