Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing is required.
• RN license in state of employment.
• Physical requirements include medium work up to 50 lbs, up to 20 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs; evaluate response and intervene for optimal outcomes.
• Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in therapeutic/diagnostic interventions (IVs, incision/wound care, meds, catheterization, specimen collection).
• Maintain confidential patient charts; document status, interventions, and outcomes; use IT to communicate and support decision-making.
• Promote and advocate for patient health and safety and rights.
• Provide patient/family education by assessing learning readiness and effectiveness of teaching.

Education

Associates Degree in Nursing; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
