Job summary

Healogics is seeking an RN to provide patient care at the Wound Care Center, handling intake and discharge and coordinating with the care team. You may perform case management duties and assist in vein clinics after training.

The role includes essential nursing assessments, documentation, and participation in quality initiatives. Required are an RN license and ADN; BSN is preferred, with wound care certification recommended.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice (required)
• ADN degree required; BSN preferred
• Wound care certification preferred
• Experience in Medical Surgical, Home Health, or Wound Care preferred
• Demonstrated competency in BLS
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency with computerized nursing systems

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to Wound Care Center patients and manage intake/discharge per hospital standards
• Assist in vein clinic after HBO training
• May serve as Case Manager for a group of patients
• Perform initial nursing assessments and document care plans
• Participate in quality improvement and patient education
• Perform HBO-related duties after hyperbaric training and safety director duties after training
• Collaborate with other providers and coordinate patient care
• Act as Documentation Assistant (scribe) as needed
