Job summary

Healogics is hiring an RN to provide patient care at the Wound Care Center, handling intake and discharge processes and supporting the vein clinic after training. The role may include Case Manager duties and HBO-related responsibilities, with collaboration across clinical leadership.

The position requires an RN license, ADN (BSN preferred) and strong communication, organizational and patient advocacy skills in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice required throughout employment.
• ADN degree accepted; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification and wound care knowledge beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to Wound Care Center patients and handle intake/discharge per standards.
• Assist in vein clinic after specialized training and act as Case Manager as assigned.
• Perform initial nursing assessment, document care plans, and communicate findings to physicians.
• Assess wound stage, measure progress, and identify care needs for intervention.
• Participate in quality improvement, educate patients/caregivers, and advocate for patients.
• Perform HBO-related duties after hyperbaric training; may assume safety director duties.
• Collaborate with Wound Care Center staff, Program Director and Medical Director; may act as scribe.
• Perform other duties as required.
