Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BSN preferred.
• Wound care certification preferred.
• Wound care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care to Wound Care Center patients and handles patient intake and discharge.
• Assist in vein clinic as assigned after Healogics Vein Clinic training completed.
• May serve as Case Manager, conducting initial nursing assessment and documenting care plans.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives and acts as patient advocate.
• Performs HBO-related duties after training; may serve as HBO safety director.
• Collaborates with other healthcare providers and program/director for clinic and patient needs.
• May function as a Documentation Assistant (scribe).
