Job summary

Fundamental in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Wound Care Nurse to assess, treat, and develop care plans for patients with complex wounds, ostomies, and continence issues. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote healing and patient comfort.

Responsibilities include wound assessment, documentation, in-service education, and contributing to care plans. This full-time role offers competitive hourly wages and a comprehensive benefits package, including insurance and retirement

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN in good standing with the state.
• 1–2 years wound care experience required.
• Wound Care Certification (WOCN) preferred.
• 1+ years of long term care experience preferred.

• Offer in-service programs as needed to assist nursing, rehabilitation and medical staff to maintain knowledge and competence in wound care.
• Collect, analyze and document information and statistics related to wounds in the facility, as well as perform clinical evaluations for potential wound admissions.

The Wound Care Nurse works in harmony with the nursing staff assessing, treating, and creating care plans for patients with complex wounds, ostomies, and/or continence conditions. If you are a Wound Care Nurse with a true passion for patient care and compassion for others and a commitment to teamwork.

Posted Salary Range

USD $40.00 - USD $44.00 /Hr.

Wage Commensuration

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
