Sharp HealthCare seeks a Wound Care Coordinator to direct, organize, and develop all wound care services hospital-wide, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and organizational standards while following the Plan of Care and physician orders for wound treatments. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing, WOCN certification, 3 years RN experience, and strong communication skills.

The position leads wound education efforts and collaborates with care teams, patients, and families to improve skin

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Completion of accredited WOCN educational program is required.
• 3 years RN experience preferred.
• Proficiency with computer applications is required.
• California RN license is required.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers required.

Responsabilidades

• Direct and coordinate wound care services to ensure compliance with standards.
• Lead hospital wound education initiatives and educate patients and families.
• Act as clinical lead for wound care while coordinating with physicians and staff.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and practice in wound care techniques and ostomy management.
• Support quality improvement initiatives related to skin integrity and wound care.
