Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Wound Program Coordinator to lead clinical wound care initiatives across our inpatient rehabilitation network. You will coordinate services, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure evidence-based treatments meet regulatory standards.

In this role you will educate patients, families, and hospital staff about wound care, drive ongoing professional development, and lead hospital-wide wound care education programs.

Qualifications

• RN, Physical Therapist, or Occupational Therapist license/certification required.
• CPR certification mandatory.
• Minimum one year wound care experience.
• Continuous wound care education through seminars/professional organizations required.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and autonomous work abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop wound care services in adherence to regulatory standards and physician orders.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to provide guidance on wound care treatments.
• Lead educational efforts for hospital staff on wound care topics, as well as educating patient and family members on wounds and wound care.
• Maintain continuous education and stay updated on the latest wound care techniques and advancements.
