Sharp HealthCare in Oceanside, CA seeks a Wound Care Coordinator to lead wound care services, ensure care aligns with federal, state, and hospital standards, and oversee Plan of Care and orders related to wounds.

You will educate patients and families, train staff, develop multidisciplinary action plans, work with the Quality department to update policies, and act as a clinical resource for physicians and nurses across the hospital.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• CA RN license required (Board of RN).
• 3 years RN experience.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Proficiency with computer applications (Word/PowerPoint/Excel).
• WOCN certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Direct and develop wound care services per standards to ensure quality patient care.
• Lead wound education for staff, patients, and families.
• Coordinate interface with physicians, nurses, and outside agencies.
• Create multidisciplinary action plans and standing orders for skin care.
• Train staff on wound, ostomy and continence care.
• Update policies with the Quality department to ensure compliance.
