Job summary

Encompass Health seeks a Wound Program Coordinator to oversee wound care services, align with physician orders, and lead education across hospital teams. You will work with clinical staff to implement treatments and support patients and families in wound care management.

The role requires RN/PT/OT credentials for acute rehab settings, CPR certification, and at least one year of wound care experience, with ongoing professional development encouraged.

Qualifications

• RN/PT/OT license required for acute rehab hospitals; RN required for long-term acute care hospitals.
• CPR certification is mandatory.
• Minimum one year of wound care experience.
• Continuous education in wound care through seminars or professional organizations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop wound care services in adherence to regulatory standards and physician orders.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to provide guidance on wound care treatments.
• Lead educational efforts for hospital staff on wound care topics, and educate patients and families on wounds and wound care.
• Maintain continuous education and stay updated on the latest wound care techniques and advancements.
