Qualifications

• Current RN license required and maintained throughout employment.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• 1 year RN experience minimum; 2+ years preferred.
• Wound care certification preferred.
• BLS required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hospital databases.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management for wound care patients per protocols.
• Oversee clinical staff including RNs, LPNs, CMAs and technicians.
• Collaborate with hospital personnel, wound center providers, and leadership.
• Identify process improvements while complying with HIPAA and DOH requirements.
• Engage in staff development and in-service training.
• Coordinate program objectives from a budgetary/financial perspective.
• Assist in coordinating vein care services if applicable.
• Achieve wound center quality indicators.
• May act as scribe or hyperbaric safety director after training.
• Perform patient care as needed and other duties.
