Job summary

US Wound Care and Hyperbaric Centers seeks a PRN Wound Care Nurse in Arlington, TX. The role involves assessing and treating patients with chronic wounds, documenting progress, and educating patients and families.

Reports to Clinic Manager and collaborates with the care team to ensure quality care. Requirements include RN or LVN licensure in Texas, BLS certification, and at least 2 years of wound care experience; HBOT experience and WOCN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered RN or LVN licensure in Texas.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years of wound care experience.
• WOCN certification is preferred.
• HBOT training/experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs and documents patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Evaluates patient progress and outcomes.
• Documents care plans and progress toward goals.
• Provides patient and family teaching on treatment plan and procedures.
• Maintains a safe environment and HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborates with the care team to balance workload.
