Korzen Health seeks a part-time Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) available 3 days/week to lead the Wound Care Clinic program in Louisville, Kentucky, in collaboration with Healogics. You will need both KY and IN licenses.
Healogics has over 25 years of experience treating patients with chronic wounds across more than 600 hospital-based wound care centers nationwide. We treat over 300,000 wound care patients annually, having healed nearly 4 million wounds. We are the world’s leading expert in wound healing.
This position is based in our outpatient wound care clinic, focusing on procedural wound care. Our hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no nights, on-call duties, or weekend work. Patients are by appointment only; walk-ins are not accepted. The candidate will be employed by Healogics.
The environment is procedure-oriented, primarily serving geriatric patients. Candidates must have at least 1 year of procedural experience, including suturing, debridement, and incision and drainage (I&D). Procedural case logs will be part of credentialing. Other non-dermatological procedural experience may be acceptable.
Training in Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBO) Therapy is available. A full clinical team will support from day one.
Standard hours are Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with no night shifts or weekend hours. Please apply for more details about the part-time schedule.
Teams typically handle 10-15 patient encounters per day, mostly wound care, with less than 5% receiving HBO therapy.
