Position Overview

Korzen Health is seeking a part-time Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) available 4-5 days/week to lead the Wound Care Clinic program in Omaha, NE, in collaboration with Healogics and an existing medical facility.

Work Environment & Schedule

This outpatient clinic focuses on procedural wound care, operating Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no nights, weekends, or on-call duties. Patients are seen by appointment only. The candidate will be employed by Healogics and work within an integrated medical facility.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of procedural experience, including suturing, debridement, and I&D procedures.
• Active state license and Certified Nurse Practitioner credential.
• DEA license.
• Experience with minor procedures is required; other procedural experiences may be considered.

Training & Support

Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy training are available. A full clinical team, including case managers and specialized nurses, will support the NP from start date.

Scope of Practice & Responsibilities

• Provide advanced wound care treatments such as cellulitis therapy, compression therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, infection management, wound cleaning, and dressing.
• Manage approximately 15-20 patient encounters daily, primarily wound care, with less than 5% receiving Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.
