Job summary

Sun Health's Grandview Terrace in Sun City West, AZ is seeking a Wound Care Nurse to provide specialized assessment, treatment, and management of resident wounds within our skilled nursing facility. You will partner with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized plans, monitor healing, and educate staff, residents, and families on wound prevention and care.

Ideal candidates hold an active Arizona RN or LPN license, a wound care certification is preferred, and CPR certification is

Qualifications

• Current, active Arizona RN or LPN license.
• Wound care certification preferred.
• 1–2 years of nursing experience in wound care or similar setting.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive wound assessments and determine treatment plans.
• Administer wound care procedures and debridement per orders.
• Monitor healing, adjust plans, escalate to physicians as needed.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on wound prevention and care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and ensure regulatory compliance.
