Grandview Terrace in Sun City West, AZ is seeking a Wound Care Nurse to provide expert wound assessment, treatment, and prevention within a skilled nursing setting. You will work with the interdisciplinary team to develop and monitor plans, ensuring high-quality care and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes education for staff, residents, and families, plus coordination with physicians and wound care specialists. This position is full-time and onsite at our Sun City West campus.

Qualifikationen

• Active AZ RN/LPN license (unencumbered).
• Wound care certification preferred (WCC/CWCN/WOCN).
• 1–2 years nursing experience; wound care/ltc preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform comprehensive wound assessments (pressure injuries, ulcers).
• Conduct wound care procedures per physician orders.
• Monitor healing, adjust plans, escalate to physician when needed.
• Identify skin breakdown risks and implement prevention strategies.
• Coordinate admissions skin assessments and care plan changes.
• Educate staff, residents, and families on wound care.
