Job summary

Paradigm Healthcare is seeking an experienced Wound Treatment Nurse to join their nursing team in Texas. You will provide direct resident care, develop care plans, and coordinate services to ensure a high standard of wellbeing.

CPR and emergency measures are performed as needed and resident dignity is always upheld. The role requires an active nursing license (RN or LVN) in Texas and preferred experience in long-term care with restorative nursing.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN or LVN license in the state.
• 2 years’ long-term care experience preferred.
• 6 months rehabilitative/restorative nursing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of PointClickCare preferred.
• Computer literacy in Outlook, Office and Internet required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per nurse practice act and facility policies.
• Develop and direct each resident's plan of care with physician orders.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services for continuity of care.
• Participate in facility surveys and inspections as required.
• Provide CPR and emergency nursing care per orders and directives.
• Maintain resident dignity and privacy in all care interactions.
