Job summary

Paradigm Healthcare in El Campo, TX is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse for a full-time day shift. You will provide direct nursing care, implement and oversee residents’ plans, and ensure compliance with policies to uphold resident dignity and wellbeing.

Required is an active TX nursing license and an Associate Degree in Nursing; 2 years LTC experience preferred, with familiarity in rehabilitative care and Point Click Care software.

Qualifications

• Must possess current, active license to practice as RN or LVN in Texas.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• 2 years’ Long-Term Care experience preferred.
• 6 months rehabilitative/restorative nursing experience preferred.
• Strong familiarity with Point Click Care preferred.
• Computer literacy: Outlook, Word, Internet.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with laws, facility policies, and clinical judgment.
• Plan, implement, and direct the delivery of each resident’s plan of care.
• Adhere to policies and ensure privacy and dignity of residents.
• Coordinate nursing services with other departments to ensure continuous care.
• Participate in facility surveys and compliance activities.
• Maintain professional conduct and report incidents per policy.
• Protect resident information and report security concerns.
