Job summary

Paradigm Healthcare in Pasadena, TX is seeking a compassionate Wound Treatment Nurse to join our skilled nursing facility on a part-time basis. You will provide direct nursing care and support residents under physician orders.

Responsibilities include planning and directing individualized care plans, ensuring compliance with policies, participating in surveys, and coordinating with other teams to maintain residents' wellbeing. Requires current RN or LVN license and Nursing degree.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN or LVN license in the State of Texas.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• 2 years’ Long-Term Care experience preferred.
• Six (6) months experience in rehabilitative/restorative nursing preferred.
• Strong utilization knowledge of Point Click Care preferred.
• Computer literacy: Outlook, Office, Internet.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per nurse practice act, regulations, facility policies, and prudent nursing judgment.
• Plan and direct the resident’s plan of care per physician orders and guidelines.
• Know and follow facility policies governing daily nursing operations.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in facility surveys and inspections as required.
• Develop daily work and unit assignments and supervise staff as needed.
• Provide patient education to residents and families when directed by Administration.
