Job summary

Paradigm at Faith Memorial in Pasadena, TX is seeking a Weekend Wound Nurse to join a growing team. You will provide direct wound care, support plans of care, and uphold resident dignity with compassionate nursing judgement.

Must hold an active Texas nursing license with 2 years LTC experience preferred; familiarity with Point Click Care and CPR is desired. Weekend shifts offer flexible scheduling and a collaborative environment focused on resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LVN license in Texas.
• Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• 2 years’ long-term care experience preferred.
• 6 months rehabilitative/restorative nursing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Point Click Care and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per nurse practice act and facility policy.
• Plan and direct delivery of each resident’s care plan with physicians’ orders.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident care teams to ensure continuity.
• Participate in surveys and maintain compliance with regulations.
• Provide CPR as needed and maintain resident dignity and privacy.
• Develop daily work and unit assignments; conduct frequent rounds.
• Report incidents, exposures, and unauthorized access to administrators.
