The position requires an active RN license in the state, a current APRN license, and a Master’s degree in Nursing. Excellent coordination with physicians and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in the state.
• Current Active, unrestricted state APRN license or ability to obtain prior to hire.
• Master’s degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and evaluate resident and employee health care in long-term care.
• Travel to multiple facilities; regions vary by scheduling needs.
• Examine and treat wound-related illnesses and acute injuries; write prescriptions.
• Refer to physicians and update medical directors on care.
• Perform wound debridement and manage topical wound care.
